Rotary Brockville

There are two Rotary Clubs in Brockville, the Rotary Club of Brockville and the Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands.  With two clubs, this allows members to belong to either the Monday  - noon hour luncheon club or the Wednesday morning breakfast club.

Working as one club, we come together to work on projects and events that benefit our residents, our community, our visitors and people benefiting from our international projects.

Rotary's impact can be seen throughout our picturesque city and around the world.

One of those organizations is Cross Town Impact, which provides free after-school programs for students in Grades 3 to 6.
To help with the activities, Rotarian Co-chairs of the Youth Services Committee Pierre Atchison (middle) and Marilyn Powers (right) present a cheque to Cross Town Impact, Executive Director Greg Houldcroft (left).

Brockville Mayor Matt Wren continued the long-standing tradition of addressing the local Rotary Clubs.  This year Mayor Wren provided a very informative overview of the many positive community-building initiatives that are underway within Brockville and area.  His State of the City address prompted much discussion and it looks like it's going to be a good year ahead!
Presenting the thanks of the Clubs are Andrew Kizell (left), President of the Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands, and Bruce Leslie, Secretary of the Rotary Club of Brockville (right).  The book presented to Mayor Wren (middle) will be provided to the School Library at St. John Bosco Elementary School in recognition of the Mayor's visit.
