Golf Tournament wins Chamber President's Award
The Canadian Tire Rotary Golf Classic has been named recipient of the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce President’s Award.
The annual event has raised more than $500,000 over the past five years for various Rotary-supported projects.
“The continuous success of this annual event and their consistent hard work and dedication over the last years is the reason that I am delighted to give this special and prestigious recognition to the Rotary Clubs of Brockville,” chamber President Laura Good stated in a release issued last Thursday.
The president’s award was established in 2009 and is not necessarily presented each year. The Rotary event is the fourth recipient.
