Rotary World Polio Day - Purple Pinkie Day is October 24th! The purpose of this initiative is to raise awareness of polio eradication and to solicit funds for Rotary International's Polio Plus Program. It costs just $3 USD ($5 CAD) to fully vaccinate a child against polio. Today, Rotarian Susan Brister (left) painted Rotarian Marilyn Powers (right) pinkie purple - a symbol of support for ending polio worldwide!
