Rotary Brockville has also installed a Peace Pole in Reynolds Park, a powerful and internationally recognized symbol of hope and unity.

 

Its presence in Reynolds Park is a fitting addition to an area shaped by community involvement and generosity.

 

The Peace Pole stands as a reminder that when people come together—through service, compassion, and collaboration—we can create a more peaceful world and make a real difference close to home.

 

Brockville’s pole bears the words “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in English, French, Mohawk, and Anishinaabe.

 

“Let our Rotary Peace Pole stand as a silent yet powerful reminder that peace begins with us—in our hearts, our homes, and our communities."

 

 

On Thursday, September 18th, 2025, Rotary Brockville (Rotary Club of Brockville and Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands) hosted a special dedication ceremony for the city’s first Peace Pole in Reynolds Park.
