The Rotary Clubs of Brockville presented three Paul Harris Fellow Awards to Tom Harrington (top photo right), Andrew Kizell (middle photo left), and Alfred O'Rourke (bottom photo left) during the annual Christmas Social event held December 10, 2025.The Rotary Clubs of Brockville continue their esteemed tradition of bestowing a Paul Harris Fellowship Award upon distinguished individuals each Rotary year. This prestigious accolade recognizes those persons whose contributions significantly enhance our community and foster a better living environment both locally and globally. Named after Paul Harris, the original founder of Rotary International, the Paul Harris Fellowship Award is among the highest accolades that a Rotary Club can bestow upon an individual. Those persons receiving this distinction have enriched our community with their outstanding contributions and they serve as inspirational figures for others, thereby embodying the ideals and values of Rotary. Recipients may be members of our Rotary Clubs or distinguished individuals from the community.
At the December 10th annual Christmas Social, the Rotary Clubs of Brockville bestowed three people with Paul Harris Fellowship Awards. In the top photo, pictured with Katherine Hobbs, President of the Rotary Club of Brockville, Rotarian Tom Harrington (right) received his second Paul Harris Fellowship Award. Tom was introduced by Rotarian Mark Mazurek. In the middle photo, Rotarian Andrew Kizell (left) receives his Paul Harris Fellowship after being introduced by Rotarian Rene Melchers. In the bottom photo, Rotarian Alfred O'Rourke (left) receives his Paul Harris Fellowship following his introduction by Rotarian Bev O'Rourke.
